March 2, 2023 was a big day at the elementary. We combined our monthly assembly for February with a celebration of reading. Dr. Seuss' birthday is recognized on March 2, and schools across the nation join in for Read Across America. The day is dedicated to reading. We also used the event as our official kick-off for our Read-a-thon fundraiser. Thank you to everyone who has or will show your support by donating as our students ramp up their love for reading. Congratulations to our February students of the month: Zaylee Stapp (K-1), Hagen Simmons (2-3), and Judith Ortiz (4-6). These amazing students are excellent examples of our behavior expectations. Mrs. Welch's homeroom class had the highest attendance rate for the third time in a row! Keep up the great work.
